Finn rides up to the Arouet estate and dismounts. "Greetings, I'm Captain O'Deorain - I'm to meet with the master, here." He flashed a piece of correspondence he received from Marcelin. "Is the proprietor available right now?" "Lumnock, I will be the person manning the counter for a moment. Or even until you return, depending on the decision of our customer here." A person, who, by his height and facial features looked like a child, addressed the dwarf at the counter one day. It was a sunny morning at the mercantile outpost of the Purple Fox Mercantile Company. The building in which they situated themselves was once a city manor of an affluent noble, but the former owner sold it to the company when he found a larger land to build a more prestigious manor, in which the company also had a hand on in constructing. The building, with its, impressive architecture, though, was a far cry from the person guarding the front of it: a burly, very muscular half-orc towering at seven feet, his armor and axe gleaming with the morning light. That half-orc noticed a lone rider moving towards the building, and stood ready. But as he made it out that it was a high-born, he averted his eyes from the incoming rider, as it was the person his master was waiting for. As that person flashed the letter to the front of the building, the orc snatched the letter, read it, returned the letter to the person, and said, "Come in, the Master is expecting you," as he opened the doors of the building and led the person in, and then stopped at the front of the door inside the showroom, the front room of the building. The showroom was filled with mannequins at the left side that were clothed, some in military attire, some in formal dress of the Empire, and others in a sort of style that the proprietor could comprehend. The left wall also have display racks of swords, shields, and other weapons in full display; while the entire right side was a library, filled with scrolls and codices in many different subjects of learning. As the person would walk further, he would see two rows of three people each facing each other seemingly separated by a desk with two ornate chairs in front of it. The two farthest from the desk were a handsome gnome and an equally handsome human; the two next to them were females, one an elf and having a grown body while the other a half-elf and more youthful but more muscular; and the two nearest to the desk a middle-aged dwarf and a half-elf with a childish mien. Behind the desk sat a person, his face, while looking very childish, looks as if it always had a devious smile plastered on it. His mannerisms as well as his clothing were nothing of the typical, as he clasped his open hands at the front of his body while his feet wrapped in black boots made of shiny leather were propped on the desk he was sitting behind of. His dark eyes met those of the person's, and then started speaking in a raspy middle-pitched voice, issuing a smile. "Welcome to the Purple Fox Mercantile Company. How may I help you?

Finn looks around and then solidifies his gaze on the raspy-voiced child who looked half his age - though to be fair, Finn didn't know his own age, having spent centuries in a warrior monk monastery. "Hi. I sent a letter ahead about requisitioning manpower - or buying, renting...leasing? Acquiring manpower from your organization." His eloquence, unmatched, he looked around again. "The person I spoke to gave me some names of people you had working for you who fit my requirements." After an awkward moment's pause he merely shrugged. "Sadly, I'm terrible with names so I don't remember what he told me. If I can recall at all they were...Korran, Lumnuts, Skabies, and maybe Krackhead?" He gave the child a sheepish look. "Though if you've got a talented female gnome of any kind, I wouldn't turn down the chance to see what she's worth, either." As if he didn't want to dwell on his own point he simply continued, barely taking a breath. "Essentially what I'm looking for is to gather a force of volunteers to aid me and train them up a bit. Our mutual acquaintance said those two...Numbnuts and Scamose might be good for getting people on my side. I don't think it's any level of surprise that I'm not one to easily convince people of anything - really no secret I don't get sociality. The merchant in town also said Karen and Crackcage could assist me with training them. How much would you charge me for borrowing each of their services for a month...maybe two for the trainers?"

As the names that were lost in translation were mentioned, the two elvish females silently laughed while covering their mouths, while the three mentioned people were incensed. The half-orc's shouting voice could be heard from near the door to the far end of the room where the others were, while the middle-aged dwarf and the handsome gnome sent piercing glances at the customer. The person behind the desk only smiled.
"There you have it, the three people you mentioned... which names were rather lost in translation I believe. The other one should be Kieran Lambert, my right-hand man, but I am afraid I could not convince him to part ways with me even only for a moment." He then glanced at the back of the room, where a din of hammer pounding metal could be heard.
He then looked again at the customer. "So you would want to hire the services of Lumnock, Skamos, and Krakage, right?" He then turned towards each of the three in succession, still bearing those indignant faces. "Well looks like they had bad first impressions of you. I hope that could be fixed, and maybe I have a solution to that. Rodolfo!" The scrawny half-elf near the desk and facing the dwarf responded, "Y-yes?" The person behind the desk turned again towards the prospective customer. "This is Rodolfo, my left-hand man and the actual person in charge of my private soldiers. He may accompany the three people you wished to hire, and could also keep tabs of my men so that they do their job and their job alone." He then addressed his men in the room: "Remember this, Lumnock, Skamos, Krakage, you three. All your actions will reflect my own behavior as well as the company's to the public, keep that in mind. Or do you want yourself to be found in square one, where you were treated as less than garbage by other people. The latter will happen if you mess this up. Unless you want to destroy your own life yet again, remember what I have taught you to do." He then turned to his customer again. "My rates should be 10 gold a month for each worker that you would hire. Would it be good enough for you?"

Finn seemed unfazed by the glares and only shrugged at the youngster. "Bad first impressions seem to be my forte - kind of why I'm hiring impressionists...impressioners...impressors..." He paused as his brain searched through it's database of dictionary, but not socially proper, definitions. "Solicitors? Yes, hiring these folks to solicit people for me and handle them." He looked over the new person mentioned, honestly surprised he was able to get everyone else's names close enough that anyone knew who he was talking about. He fished out a leather satchel and pulled coins from it. "So the three I mentioned, roughly, and this fourth fellow? Well if he's even better than the other ones, Radolf's a good one to come along, too. So that's four - I'll pay half the fee up front. I'll send along the rest once your fellows arrive. If for no other reason than I only carry twenty gold on me at a time." He sat twenty coins on the table and nodded. "Well then, if we've got a deal - I'm sure your fellows will need to time to finish their duties here, pack their belongings, and say their farewells. I'll have them all for a minimum of...two months I'd say. I'll pay at the head of each continual month and send back those whom I no longer need." With that the man did a quick second count of the coins he laid down, sure enough twenty, and backed away from the counter. "If there's no further issues, I'll return to my post." He stopped and shook his head. "Maybe...someone write down the names of the fellows coming along, though, so I can definitely get it right when I'm telling the guards who I'm expecting?"
Lumnock, Skamos, Krakage, and Radolfo to me... 40 Gold to you... As of this turn, aye?

The young man behind the counter issued a smile. "In fact, they are ready to leave now, they have already packed up their bags for a long period of work." He then examined the coins before him just by looking at them, and by just a mere glance and the way the coins were tinkling, he was sure that the customer was not fooling him with either insufficient amount of coins or their veracity. He then reached for some drawer in the desk, and he then pulled out a contract. As he withdrew his feet from the desk and started to reach for his seal, he then said, "Nothing to worry about in regards to the names, they are all listed in this paper. I just hope that you treat them well."
He then stamped the seal on the contract, while saying, "It is settled." He then gave the contract to the customer, and as the four people were ready to leave, he saw them out of the building.
